Prized for both it's beauty and density, ebony is one of the worlds strongest, most durable types of wood. Here it is handcarved into these strikingly beautiful forms, ready to add a touch of class to your home or office.
Although this is a nearly perfect pair, it looks like a small piece of one of the bookend's base was chipped off because it's not uniformly straight and smooth like the other one, but it's hardly noticeable and does not affect it's balance or stability whatsoever. I had thought about sanding it smooth but I decided not to because they are just so perfectly beautiful as they are. Each figure measures approximately 10" tall by 3" wide and 4.5" deep and their combined weight is nearly 5 lbs.
