What a great item from years gone by.
This brocade type material covered box has an attached ring on one end and a tassel on the other end.
There is a bead on the finger side that slides to make the box close tighter, I believe.
Inside is a mirror, not very clear. There are three compartments. One for lipstick, I put a small perfume in the slot.
One has make up pads. There are two.
The other has a hard round rouge.
I feel the box closes ok but probably was a tighter fit early on. Maybe an added button or snap would help if used.
