Antique ladies boudoir 4-piece ormolu or gold-plated brass vanity set includes mirrored tray, hand mirror, brush, and comb holder.
1) Mirrored tray is 13.25" x 8.25" inches (including handles), stands on 4 feet and is marked "Apollo 2698|11". Mirror is in good condition, glass is clear with no silvering or oxidation.
2) Hand mirror is 13" x 4". Mirror is bevelled and in good condition. Glass is clear with no silvering or oxidation. Marked with Apollo stamp.
3) Brush is 9.5" x 2.5". Bristles have some discoloration due to age - see photo. Marked with Apollo stamp.
4) Comb holder is 7.5" x 0.25" and is not marked. Comb not included.
Apollo Studios of New York was known for producing ornate ormolu or gold-plated boudoir vanity items in the early years of the 20th century. Apollo Studios was a division of Bernard Rice's & Sons and items marked with the Apollo stamp were made from 1909 until 1922.
