Stunning ornate compact with beautiful engraved lines and a surrounding engraved pattern on the edges. Open to reveal a mirror and a well where powder could have gone. Compact measures 1.5 inches across.
Maker/Material: Locket is stamped "Ger Silver" on the back.
Condition: good vintage condition. Compact and closes easily and does not have a catch so does pop open at times but I think this is the way it was made. Light scratching on the back. Mirror is in good condition with a little chipping at edges.
Antique lockets are special treasures. I love that they come with a little bit of history and you can imagine the life they have lived before you own them. It's getting more and more rare to find these special statement pieces.
