Suited for both hand held and or automated gouging systems. Designed specifically for the air carbon-arc process that contains a precise formulated blend of carbon and graphite and produces the most efficient metal removal performance in today's market. These gouging electrodes have excellent arc stability and a superior metal removal rate. Cool operation, uniform diameter and clean machine-like grooves or cuts. Eliminates stub loss and provides continuous electrode feed especially for semi-automatic and automatic torches. Machined at each end to provide male and female fittings. Applications include fabrication, maintenance, repair shops and shipyards. Current type is direct current (DC) and operating polarity direct current electrode positive (DCEP) with reverse polarity. Electrode size is 3/8 by 14 inches and the amperage capacity of 450-600 amps.
