The Atomic Backland Carbon is the star of the Backland Series. It's the most downhill-oriented Backland touring boot in the series – but without sacrificing any uphill performance. Frictionless Pivot gives you the freedom of movement to move quickly up the mountain in total comfort and the Free / Lock 4.0 system keeps the boot easy to pilot on the climb up, then lets you lock in the cuff for a supremely smooth downhill session. The durable Boa® Fit System ensures a precise fit that can be effortlessly adjusted on the go. The Carbon Spine offers stiffness and control – with a progressive flex on par with the Hawx Prime 110 S. When you're done, you'll want to head right back uphill. Backland boots are only compatible with TLT-style touring bindings that use traditional pins at both the toe and the heel. Backland boots are not compatible with hybrid touring bindings, such as Shift MNC 10 & 13.
