Avoid traditional filters which are made with Terylene polyester, a thermoplastic which cannot be recycled and will not decompose in landfill.
• ✅ FITS ALL STANDARD COMPOST BINS: Suitable for 99% of kitchen compost bins in the US. Easy installation with cutting templates included to cut your filters to the exact shape and size that matches your bin (if required). The out-of-the-box size is 7.25” round.
• ✅ 2 YEARS OF ODOR PROTECTION (BEST IN MARKET): Protect your kitchen from odors for up to 2 years. It is recommended to replace your filter every 2 months, or 4 months if using two at a time (refer to images). Caution buying filters that claim odor protection beyond 2 years as even the purest Activated Charcoal loses efficacy over time after the manufacturing date.
• ✅ FITTING INSTRUCTIONS: The biodegradable filter is stiffer than regular filters, so cutting close to the correct size is recommended for ease of insertion. If space permits, use two filters together to help secure the filters in place. Using two filters together will double the lifespan to 4 months.
• ✅ SIMPLY CARBON QUALITY: As the coconut material is natural, texture and thickness will vary slightly. This does not impact performance. To maximise the lifetime of the set, the filters are packaged in a resealable, biodegradable bag to maintain freshness of the activated charcoal. Simply Carbon never package products in traditional plastics.
