Christine Orange doll “Primrose”

PRIMROSE Christine Orange sculpt for Elite Dolls! A Rare one Limited Edition to only 500 33” tall Porcelain head socketed into full porcelain breastplate and shoulders. She is from April 1997! She was one of the first three Christine Orange dolls presented on HSN which sold out immediately Such a large, detailed doll for the time. She is a great doll for the Christine Orange collector. Unlike some later Orange dolls, she is in good proportion, has much more porcelain w/ full breastplate w/ porcelain shoulders to bicep area. She is pellet weighted from bottom into the legs to where the porcelain starts on legs (below knees). Her legs don't swing as wildly as some later dolls like this. Wire armature in arms. Fingers separated which are beautiful! Porcelain to below elbow. She does not have the Orange (as in fruit) stitched on her outfit that was a marketing attraction on later HSN dolls. Long red hair. Brown eyes. Sprinkling of light freckles on her sweet face. Dress has smocked bodice
