This liquid drop shape analyzer offers a range from one-click wettability testing to solid-liquid adhesion force analysis. It measures the contact angle of liquid drops on solid surfaces, including parallel double drops. Users can assess the contact angle of solid materials immersed in liquid, or measure the advancing and receding angles of drops rolling on inclined surfaces. By analyzing contact angle data, one can calculate the surface energy of solids, or use the curvature of liquid profiles suspended from needle tips to measure surface or interface tension. Additionally, it computes scientific parameters related to interface contact adhesion and calculates the polarity and non-polarity of surface tension from contact angle and surface tension data.
