This listing is for a first edition, second printing copy of Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert from 1969. There were three print runs of the first edition (256 pages). This is the second impression with deep red boards. This should not be confused with the reissue retail copies seen with black boards. These had the same print set up as the book club editions (221 pages) and started in 1976. This copy is in good condition. The binding is quite square and solid. There is a gift inscription on the front free end page and some yellowing. The dust jacket is price-clipped, but is original to the book and is now in protective mylar. Please see the images.
