This is first day cover issued by Israel’ post office featuring Theodor Herzl, the visionary of the state of Israel.
On the left, bellow his picture there a segment of his speech at the first Zionist congress in 1897
In the center , in the square there is one of his quotes regarding future state of Israel
Has 2 postmarks. On the stamp the date is march 31, but I can make out the year
The one bellow is post marked in Tel Aviv on August 17 1949
In very good condition except minor crease at the left corner,barely noticeable
