This is a framed "Double Heart " Collage in a 5" x 7" picture frame created from recycled butterfly wings that are unusable due to damage incurred during transit. These butterflies are raised in a sanctuary in Uganda and the average life of a butterfly is extremely short and upon expiration, the butterfly is preserved and packaged for exportation. The vibrant blood red butterfly is the only completely red butterfly in the world. It is my intention to preserve all parts of these beautiful Gift of Nature. I work with only reputable suppliers that follow all international laws requiring licenses, inspections, and declarations. An acrylic stand is included along with a card identifying the name and origin of the butterfly. The border is metallic silver and my signature appears on my artwork.
