Gary Erickson Earthenware Majolica Pottery Vase. Commemorates the Heritage Society of Macalester College dated 2001. This is a wonderful authentic piece of Gary Erickson's work. Signed and dated on the bottom. Very beautiful glazing through out.
From the web: Erickson teaches ceramics. His organic-abstract sculpture has been exhibited at the
Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the Southwest School of Art and Craft in San Antonio,
Texas, and Gallery 101 in Melbourne, Australia. He was awarded a 1999 Minnesota State
Arts Board Fellowship and a 1999 McKnight Artist Fellowship for Ceramic Artists. A
feature article about his sculpture appeared in Ceramics Monthly and previously in
Ceramics: Art and Perception. His work is in several private and corporate
