NOTE: This item is NOT a Basket, but a round steamer plate that is inserted in a basket.
Our steamer basket inserts come in two varieties: a standard insert that sits on the bottom of the basket, or an adjustable insert that allows for different shelf heights. The standard insert has legs attached and sits 3 inches above the bottom of the basket, allowing for up to 3 inches of water to be used for steaming. The adjustable insert allows for multiple shelves to be inserted into the basket of an 80, 100, or 120 QT pot, effectively creating a multi-shelf steamer. These inserts are held in place by two aluminum rods that can be adjusted to any desired height within the basket.
