This book has been designed for use in the PHI 240-Introduction to Ethics course within the North Carolina Community College System and is currently being used at Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory and Lenoir Community College in Kinston. Lessons 2-10 include a reading section and followed by notes that will go along with class discussion for synchronous courses or video lessons for asynchronous courses. Lessons 11-14, in the area of applied ethics, do not have readings within the book but current articles will be provided within the LMS. All lessons include a quiz related to the information from the reading and class discussion. Other course materials, including articles and homework questions will be placed withing the LMS.
