This is a funky chicken!
Great studio art pottery piece by Jim/James Reno of NY.
Teapot features the head/face of a rooster or chicken on both sides and a figural rooster head as the lid finial.
Appears to be a retired or discontinued piece as I no longer see it available on his website.
Measures approx. 7 1/2” tall with lid, 7 1/2” long from spout to handle and 5 1/2” wide.
This piece is in like new condition. As with all handmade pieces, there are some manufacturing irregularities (flattened area on top opening of teapot where something must have swiped passed the clay when it was still wet, before firing). This is not a chip.
