John Lennon Talking Figure EXTREMELY RARE 6 Phrase Release!! Yoko Ono pulled. The John Lennon New York Years Talking Figure was released in 2006. This one is mint condition, never taken out of the box. There is some wear on the box due to being moved and stored throughout the years. The story behind this first edition is that as soon as it was on the shelf, the stores had to pull them back down because the company only had permission to use 2 of Lennon's phrases and not 6. Yoko found this out and demanded them to be pulled! So this is a VERY unique item now. A great gift for a Lennon or Beatles fan. I'm honestly still hesitant about selling it but I'm trying to part with some of my collectibles.
