This is a large and striking ceramic vase featuring a deep oxblood red high gloss glaze. 14" tall with a 6" width at its widest point. Works well as a floor vase or a centerpiece on a large table. The shape is a classic ovoid or tapered cylinder, fitting perfectly into mid century modern, minimalist, or contemporary interior styles.
Made of a light colored ceramic. The underside is unglazed and features felt pads to protect your surfaces from scratches. The interior shows a unique speckled transition from the red glaze to the natural ceramic body.
This item is in pre-owned condition. Please review the photos carefully to see the character of the piece. The exterior glaze remains very shiny and vibrant. As is common with this type of glaze and firing process, there are some small pinholes and minor surface pitting in the finish. There is also some general shelf wear and minor darkening on the unglazed bottom rim. No large cracks or major chips visible.
