Sorry, I don't have the name of this shell or any history. I always bring home all the shells that people leave on the table at auctions. Fortunately for me, not everyone wants them and I have been dragging them home (much to my husband's disgust) since the 80s from a lot of auctions in NW MO and NE KS. I was always happy to bring home someone's long ago seaside vacation souvenirs to put on my porch instead of throwing them in the landfill.
This has been on my porch for years and now I would like someone else to appreciate it. If this sells well, I will work on selling the rest.
