**LE everyday slacks**
Slacks are an essential piece for adding a touch of sophistication and minimalism to any outfit. However, delicate wool slacks can be daunting to wear on a regular basis due to their care requirements and durability concerns.
While searching for a more casual yet stylish alternative, I stumbled upon a pair of vintage slacks I bought on a whim, likely from the 90s.
Despite being made from seemingly cheap polyester, the fabric had a unique crispness that resisted wrinkles, making it almost indistinguishable from wool. It was functional, simple, and had a great silhouette.
For LE, we adopted the classic silhouette of the out-tack detail and piped stem, while searching for a more durable and everyday-friendly material that captured the essence of the original fabric.
The contrast between the classic silhouette and details with the modern feel of the fabric creates a unique and interesting aesthetic.
Most importantly, the wrinkle-resistant and washable nature of these slacks makes them a practical and enjoyable addition to any wardrobe.
