A reproduction of the 501 model from World War II in 1944. The Arcuate stitch on the pockets is painted, and the front buttons are laurel wreath donut buttons. There is no rivet reinforcement on the coin pocket, and details born from the material shortages of the war, such as the leather patch, single-sided Big E, hidden rivets, and red ear selvedge, are still popular today.
