Millenium Pattern-Stratfordshire Black and White Transferware Plate 177 yrs old

This rare and fascinating plate was made by Ralph Stevenson, circa 1832-35. The back is marked with the pattern name "Millenium" (misspelled) and designed to illustrate the biblical prophecy set forth in the book of Isaiah, Chap. XI.VI . This verse predicts the second coming of Christ, who would rule for a thousand years before the last judgment. This pattern is HIGHLY sought after by Serious collectors of Transferware, and can be found in 3 other colors: purple,blue and red. It measures 7 1/2" across.
