*This lovely mourning broach from the late 1800s featuring a tiny lock of the deceased’s red hair decoratively woven. I’m not sure about identity of black mineral. The pin has been repaired, which is to be expected from a broach of this age, unfortunately it was not replaced with a period correct clasp. This is something that could be easily sourced and replaced by your local jeweler if you need it to be fully period correct.
