How I Made This
I love designing things and this was so exciting for me to do! I modeled this in a 3D program called Cinema4D. I made this in three pieces so that it would close nice and snug cards held securely inside.
After I finish the design and print it using a 3d printer in 3 separate pieces, each one takes 24 hours to print! After they print out, I sand and wash them to a fine texture removing any trace elements of the print. Remember that there may be some imperfections as each print will always be slightly different.
Then the real fun begins and my favorite part! There are 4 layers of paint in each deck box, it takes anywhere from 4-6 hours from start to finish (Longer if I’m watching Futurama!)
Each painting is slightly different so you will never get one that someone else has; variations in paint style and placement make each piece completely unique!
