PN3MR Series

This is a 3-inch aperture, high-grade adjustable housing platform designed to accommodate 75W maximum low voltage MR16 tungsten-halogen lamps. It's suitable for 2x6 residential framing or shallow commercial installations. It features an integral Truvolt toroidal wound magnetic step down transformer with dual outputs, which compensates for dimmer losses, providing full light output and extremely low noise. The die cast lamp capsule facilitates easy aiming and focusing, while the unique heat sink configuration extends lamp life by lowering critical lamp pinch. The platform is airtight, preventing energy loss, room drafts, dust marks on ceilings, and reducing sound transmission. Insulation should be kept at least 3 inches away from the top and sides of the housing. A complete fixture requires two components: a P3MR housing platform and a 3-inch IRiS optical element, which can be changed post-installation to provide various distributions.
