Tsavorite is the rarest and most expensive form of grossular garnet, fetching upwards of $2K to $8K per carat (!) for stones over 1 carat with no visible imperfections and in this vivid green color. What I love about this stone is that when you have good color saturation, as with this particular stone, it looks like a gorgeous Emerald but without all the inclusions that make an Emerald and Emerald!
