This grouping consists of: One piece of Flame cullet, (extremely rare, usually only found at marble shows)
Two pieces of Chrissy Oxblood, the red has brilliant unmixed sparkles throughout, the blk emerald piece still has a piece of iron ore unmixed on the chunk.( Yellow highlights show blk emerald glass) C.A. & M.F.C & sons used more black transparent base glasses that Akro did. Blk emerald,blk amethyst, & blk cobalt, all very dense, looking like true black glass, but very few glass companies produced True Black Opaque or Black Translucent...
The Christensen gem was gonna be a marble to start, didn't make it to the screws, fell, flattened on one side with stringers from the hopper to make a factory bail on it. Ya gotta wonder if the marble gaffer took that home for his wife or daughter...
