Seiko 6309-7049 Vintage "Turtle" Automatic Watch

Serviced and running as designed. Seiko 6309 Vintage Turtle. This watch runs well and has one of THE BEST original dials I have seen. Hands are the correct type but later aftermarket replacements. The case has the normal bumps and bruises from 50 yrs of normal use. But wears clean looking and is good including the crown tube which has OEM levels of thread left. Very rare to find the crown / tube in this good of condition on these models. Inside the Legendary 6309 all jeweled mechanism. The last Seiko mech with no plastic inside. These are known to regulate to a much higher standard than later 7002 / SkX mechs as these are traditionally made without Delrin Teflon and plastic parts. Later models such as the 7002's were made more with high volume manufacturing in mind. Great daily wear watch. I have over 60 watches and consistently come back to these early Turtles for daily / tool watch use. Tough as nails WR cases. I dont recommend water immersion on ANY vintage watch. Ships from 89102
