Rare Shawnee double handle vase, 1930’s
Horizontally ribbed with a dogwood flower relief on the front, on the backside is a leaf design relief ~ butterfly handles
This is a highly collectible piece, shown in the Shawnee Pottery book
~ excellent condition with a small amount of crazing/ there were some glaze bubbles that have discolored and there are a couple pin hole glaze skips; these manufacturing flaws are common with older pottery and add to the piece imo
The bottom is marked u.s.a.
