Sputnik Long Tail Lead Sinker
When the currents are active or you're using lighter tackle, the Sputnik Surf Sinker should be considered. It is designed to hold bottom without the need for extra weight. Four (4) stainless steel arms lock in place and anchor securely in the sand. The arms hold solid but when pulled hard they release and then have to be reset before casting back out. Sputnik Longtail Sinkers allow anglers to use less weight than with typical pyramid sinkers, yet still keeping the bait in the zone. The lead weight is aerodynamic for ultimate casting distance with less wind resistance.
