The LS 2000 is a hand-held oscilloscope designed specifically for diagnostic troubleshooting. The operation is extremely simple and does not require that the user is an expert in oscilloscopes. As a result, the LS 2000 is the most useful lab scope a diagnostic automotive technician could use. The LS 2000 is a two channel portable digital oscilloscope with a 5″ LCD screen. All functions are controlled by soft buttons located around the perimeter of the screen. Reference waveforms and instructions are contained in a plug- in card that can set up the scope for each specific measurement. Operation in reference mode is simple: scroll through the stored waveforms until you reach the desired measurement: the scope will then set all functions and display the reference waveform and the signal of the tested vehicle.
In addition, the LS 2000 can be used as a general purpose lab scope for troubleshooting and repair.
