The finest quality Spectrolite from Finland. This is not be confused with the material from Madagascar that is often called Spectrolite and is actually just high quality Labradorite. True Spectrolite is found only in Finland. It is not Labradorite. It is a directionality stone and included in the same family as Labradorite but its crystal structure is different. This makes it so the color flash is distinctly different than that of Labradorite. It has more intensity in its flash and broader color variation. This is a nice example. It has the rarest color (which is purple) as the dominant color flash and is of exceptional quality. A great hogh quality specimen. It is polished in the front.
