Taste Setter Sugar ‘n Spice Snack Sets - 4, 8

This is a set of four vintage snack sets from Taste Setter. These sets include a 8 1/4” plate with a shallow indent to hold the matching teacup. The pattern is “Sugar 'n Spice" or "Yukata". The pattern features a white background with yellow and orange flowers, and small red cross-shaped accents. These sets are made of porcelain.

These sets were likely produced in the early 1980s in Japan.

These sets are an excellent vintage condition. They show little to no signs of wear. There are no chips. There are no utensil marks. There may be a few scratches or scuffs here and there from storage, but nothing egregious.

One of the teacups has a couple of dark spots. They are not chips. They are manufacturing flaws in which the white part of the porcelain did not take. The spots do not take away from the beauty of the set.
