Set of two vintage Olympic Doric column style brass taper candle holders. This pair of handsome candle holders feature a fluted reeded center design reminiscent of the Doric style columns famously found at the ancient Olympic site in Greece. The wide columns provide a stable base for a pillar, round, or even a taller sized taper candle for a dramatic display. Both classically styled and versatile, these would be a great addition for a Library, Den, Office, or other Dark Academia style setting!
The candlesticks are in good vintage condition with no major defects. Both pieces have a lovely darkened patina and spotting from age and normal usage. Please see the pictures for details.
The larger holder measures approximately 8.25"H and the shorter holder is 6.25"H. They both have about a 4"W base and top. Each piece will hold up to a 2.75"W or 1.75"W pillar candle or .75"W taper candle.
