The box states that her birthday is December 15, 1997, but her tush tag says 1993 and registered in Oak Brook, Illinois (where Ty, Inc headquarters is located) but the tag reads Oakbrook (without the space).
Maple the Bear was born on July 1, 1996. He was introduced on February 27, 1997. Maple was retired on July 30, 1999. Maple was the first country exclusive bear outside the USA.
