The print reads "PATIENTS EFFECTS BAG," suggesting it was issued during the 1960s, likely during the Vietnam War era. In the 1980s, the designation changed to "PERSONAL EFFECTS BAG" or "PERSONAL EFFECTS BAG."
The bag features the medical emblem, the Caduceus, and on the opposite side, a name tag and the inscription "BAG, PATIENTS EFFECTS." Inside, there's a main compartment and a waterproof pocket.
