The Trailer Tongue Vertical Channel mount adapter for your trailer a-frame is a weld on adapter that converts your typical horizontal trailer tongue to accept a vertical channel type coupler. This weld on vertical channel mount has 6 adjustment holes. The six bolt hole pattern works great with typical vertical channel trailer couplers. Available completely welded, spot welded or just the components. Perfect for modifying a trailer or when building a custom trailer. The outer front is 4" wide, the outer rear is 11.75" wide. From front to back it measures 7-1/2". Actual vertical channel is 3.7" OD / 2.9" ID x 12" Tall w/ 2" on center bolt pattern.Weight Rating: If you are using 2 bolts to attach trailer coupler then its 14,000 lbs if using 4 bolts then 20,000 lbs that also assumes this kit is properly welded onto the trailer and the coupler you are using can handle those respective capacities.Towing capacity is limited by lowest rated component.
