Vintage blue and white porcelain Chinese ginger jar or melon shaped vase / bulbous urn with a double happiness symbol front and back and a point lid. Mid 20th century.
Ginger jars were often given as gifts to the Emperor, and the double happiness in particular would be given on special occasions, such as weddings.
