Vintage Pyrex Style Oval Platter Sonata Pattern 18"x10" Georges Briard Gold Trim. Vintage Pyrex Georges Briard #1332 Oval Platter - Sonata Pattern 18" x 10" X 2". This is a signed piece and hard to find in this condition! Gold Flecks throughout the glass just gleams in the light! MCM at it's finest! Beautiful edition to your Holiday table or any day! Georges Briard (May 17, 1917 – July 30, 2005 New York) was an American designer in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. He is most well known for his signature dishware and glassware - everything from cups and plates to gold plated serving dishes. His signature collection was stocked at noted department stores. Used but in excellent condition- a few minor scratches- see photos- displays beautifully! No chips or cracks! Good vintage condition; on close inspection, gold design shows some minor scratches.
