Great 1980s brass-framed Capiz shell hanging ceiling lampshade. This lampshade is in good condition. The naturally coloured capiz shell sits alongside the ombre yellow butterfly design at the edge. It has a thin brass detail which holds each section together. This will look stunning as the light casts its shadows across the room. Capiz comes from the shell of the Placuna placenta mollusc, which is native to the seas of Southeast Asia, specifically Indonesia and the Philippines.
