Beautiful solid brass Middle Eastern style Turkish Coffee pot with handle. Approximately 14” tall. Top hinge opens and works normally. (Sounds like there might be a slight rattling when it opens?)
From research, this looks similar to the dallah-an item used in Saudi Arabia and Middle Eastern countries to serve coffee in the traditional manner (with roots in the nomadic Bedouin culture). This piece appears to represents early middle-eastern craftsmanship. Would be a beautiful accent piece for eclectic gypsy bohemian home decor. No makers mark.
CONDITION
